    Job Title: Drywall - Project Manager/Estimator

    About Us:

    Join our team at a leading commercial drywall company dedicated to providing top-notch quality and service to clients. They are currently seeking a skilled Drywall - Project Manager/Estimator to join their team.

    Position Overview:

    The Drywall - Project Manager/Estimator role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall. The ideal candidate will excel in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas. Proficiency in OST/Quick Bid software is a must for this position.

    Key Responsibilities for the Drywall - Project Manager/Estimator

    • Estimate project costs and prepare bids for commercial drywall projects, including installation, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and gypsum walls.
    • Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements for accurate estimates.
    • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
    • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to guarantee timely and within-budget project completion.
    • Manage project execution, coordinate subcontractors, oversee project timelines, and resolve construction-related issues.
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
    • Prepare and deliver project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates on milestones, budget performance, and project scope changes.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial drywall, with expertise in drywall, framing, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, gypsum walls, and related areas.
    • Proficiency in OST/Quick Bid software for estimating and project management.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately estimate project costs and identify risks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Proven track record of managing commercial drywall projects successfully from estimation to completion.

    Education:

    Ideally, a degree in construction management, engineering, or relevant industry experience is preferred.
