We have an immediate opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 13 week contract at a Correctional Facility in Baltimore, MD.

*Start Date: * 5/6/2024

*Assignment Type: *13 Week Contract

*Shift/Hours: *8 hour shifts (7a – 3p, 3p – 11p, 11p – 7a)

• Will accept local and travel nursesDuties Include:
• Administers medications and treatments.
• Participates in the care planning process.
• Communicates with physicians regarding changes in resident's conditions, diagnostic test results, etc.
• Documents assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
• Educates patients and their families on health-related issues.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

*Requirements:

• Current and valid LPN license
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience
• Current BLS certification is required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing is required
