- Lead existing and new client programs, including short- and long-range planning, construction and renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, grounds and landscaping, and janitorial services.
- Manage facilities maintenance operations, including preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, professionals, and management.
- Ensure a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business.
- Oversee construction work and other core services, as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Facilities Management leadership.
- 5 years of experience as a Director of Facilities in a university or campus setting.
- Experience managing all skilled mechanical trades, grounds, environmental, and custodial services in a union campus environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management.
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus.
