    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Limited Energy Systems Integration Specialist position is responsible for designing, planning, programming, and commissioning of small or larger more complex low voltage electrical construction projects.

    This position

    interfaces with designers, project managers, general foreman, customers, installation crews and others to resolve issues throughout the project. This role requires extensive experience with access control and other security systems.

    This individual will be responsible for all aspects of access control/security projects, including creation of engineered installation documents (CAD experience preferred), creation of project BOM's, programming of headend equipment and directing the installation of these systems.

    While this role will require a heavy specialization in access control/security, it will also require knowledge of other systems installed by ECSI as well.

    Program commercial & residential systems including, but not limited to, Honeywell Vista, Bosch/Radionics, DSC, DSX, Brivo, AMAG, Genetec, and Vanderbilt.

    Maintain and develop customer relationships to secure future business.

    Direct General Foremen, Foremen and their crews in a manner as to comply with the contracts executed by ECSI/Hunt Electric Corporation, union agreements, and all policies and procedures.

    Assist with planning of projects through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation.
    Provide owner training on utilization of systems installed by ECSI
    When necessary, work with a team during the bidding process.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    At least 5 years of related work experience in the security installation field.
    Preferred experience with AutoCAD or REVIT for engineered document creation
    At least 5 years of access control system programming experience (AMAG & Genetec Certifications preferred).
    Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the electrical industry.

    Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and the coordination of manpower and resources.

    Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish the work.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to understand the scope of the contract documents and the scope of the electrical work to be performed.
    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Blue Beam and AutoCAD.
    Willingness and ability to train and educate assigned subordinates.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
    Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
    This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
    This position may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
