Job summary
The Junior Counselor is responsible for the care and general welfare of campers in their bunk while ensuring safety as a top priority. They assist with transitions between locations and during check-in/check-out, facilitate daily activities for all campers, collaborate with senior counselors when dealing with camper issues or misbehavior. The position requires prior experience working with children or families; however some flexibility is given to new employees who are eager to learn. A key part of this role involves demonstrating good behavior through modeling positive attitudes towards others.
