We're looking for a Principal Manufacturing & Materials Innovation Engineer to lead the research, development, and deployment of next-generation materials and advanced production processes.

What You'll Do

• Drive materials innovation by exploring new polymers, testing novel formulations, and guiding material selection to support cutting-edge products.
• Lead advanced manufacturing initiatives-bringing in new technologies, validating equipment, and helping evolve Intek's production capabilities.
• Solve complex technical challenges through hands-on materials testing, characterization, and process troubleshooting.
• Collaborate across teams and with suppliers to source, qualify, and integrate innovative or sustainable materials into production.
• Establish standards and documentation that ensure materials and processes are fully understood and ready for scale-up.

What You Bring
Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
• 10-15+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or materials development.
• Strong background in polymer engineering.
• Experience with material specifications and supplier qualification processes.

Skills & Attributes

• Hands-on experience with materials testing and characterization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority
