- Drive materials innovation by exploring new polymers, testing novel formulations, and guiding material selection to support cutting-edge products.
- Lead advanced manufacturing initiatives-bringing in new technologies, validating equipment, and helping evolve Intek's production capabilities.
- Solve complex technical challenges through hands-on materials testing, characterization, and process troubleshooting.
- Collaborate across teams and with suppliers to source, qualify, and integrate innovative or sustainable materials into production.
- Establish standards and documentation that ensure materials and processes are fully understood and ready for scale-up.
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or related discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10-15+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or materials development.
- Strong background in polymer engineering.
- Experience with material specifications and supplier qualification processes.
- Hands-on experience with materials testing and characterization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change without direct authority
