    We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at our community in Glendale , CA.
    WSH Management is a prominent leader in senior apartment communities and the multifamily industry. Our headquarters are located in Irvine, California and have quality living apartments for affordable and market-rate seniors and families.
    00 per hour
    Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and 401k with employer match
    Paid vacation and 15 paid company holidays
    Full time: 40 hours per week

    The Maintenance Technician daily responsibilities consist of running work orders, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliance repairs as well as exterior maintenance.

    Also responsible for keeping the appearance of the property in excellent condition, to include the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.

    In addition, maintenance technicians must often respond to after hour emergencies. Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, hardware accessories, painting, etc.
    Respond to resident requests and work with residents to minimize/resolve problems and complaints.

    Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating and equipment/supply standards and in a safe and timely manner.

    Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
    Maintain common area walls, windows, and doors including, pressure washing and cleaning windows. Grounds Maintenance includes walking and picking up debris, cleaning of trash enclosures.

    Requires a minimum of two (2) years relevant maintenance experience or one year handy man or apprenticeship experience in relevant fields.

    On call and weekend service experience.
    Proven working experience in electrical, appliance repairs etc.
    Proven working experience as a janitor / porter.
    Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
    Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
    Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets.
