    Description
    The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative process, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. This role involves preparing the operating room, managing surgical equipment, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

    Essential Work Functions:

    • Prepares the operating room by ensuring all required instruments,equipment,and sterile supplies are readyand functional for eachsurgical procedure
    • Assists in positioningandpreparingpatientsfor surgery,addressingconcernsandensuringcomfortandsafetyaccordingtoprocedurerequirements
    • Maintains a sterile field throughout surgical procedures and adheres to infection control protocols and sterile technique
