    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement security solutions to protect critical systems and data in the aviation industry.
    Lead scripting and software development efforts to automate security processes and enhance overall security posture.
    Integrate security products and technologies to strengthen the organization's defense mechanisms against cyber threats.

    Represent the security agenda to database administrators (DBAs) and developers, engaging with them on the same technical level to ensure alignment with security best practices.

    Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure architectures for new projects and initiatives.
    Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, and provide guidance on emerging risks and mitigation strategies.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
    Proven experience as an IT Security Engineer, with expertise in scripting, software development, and security product integrations.
    Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Java.
    Experience working with security products such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    Demonstrated ability to engage with DBAs and developers on a technical level and advocate for security best practices.
    Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
