Travel Surgical Technologist - Woodsville - Tact Staff

Cottage Hospital is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a 13 week assignment in Woodsville, New Hampshire.
**Job Summary**: We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Surgical Services department. The ideal candidate will have experience in general/ laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries.

**Responsibilities:**
• Setting up instruments and equipment required for procedures
• Reviewing upcoming surgical cases and inventory management
• Passing surgeon's instruments and sterile supplies during operations
• Maintaining a sterile environment throughout surgery
• Donning and doffing surgical attire, including sterile gloves, gowns, and masks
• Assisting with patient transfers and positioning
• Participating in stocking and restocking medical/surgical supplies
• Pulling cases for the next day
• Cleaning rooms after surgery
• Occasional assistance in other areas of the hospital

**Schedule:** Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm + on Call

**Requirements:**
· Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a surgical technologist
· Ideal candidate will have experience in general/ laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries
· Certification preferred but willing to hire non-certified candidates who become certified within one year of hire
· Ability to use medical technologies, surgical technology, and technical understanding
· Effective communication skills and ability to create a safe, effective environment

**Estimated Salary:** $70-$80 per hour (based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week)
