Senior Unity Developer - New York, United States - Onward Play

Description

Our client, an independent game studio, is looking to hire a Senior Unity Developer.

Their team is remote in Southern California, and are looking for someone who resides in the SoCal area who can meet up for the occasional lunch/coffee/brainstorm session.

They are building a PvE / PvP game with microtransactions, a battle pass and in-game currency to level up characters.

The ideal candidate has developed games similar to this with an emphasis on mobile

As a Senior Unity Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile games and using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles to build immersive gaming experiences.

This is a fully remote, ongoing contract position with the potential to go permanent staff.


Sr Unity Developer Requirements:
Minimum 3 years commercial experience with Unity game engine development
Proficiency in manipulating 2D graphical assets and related user interface implementation
Ability to implement engaging and interactive game experiences
Experience in Android Mobile Game Development preferred
At least one shipped title preferred
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
