    House is situated in New York's iconic Flatiron District, was previously home for Tepper Galleries, a well-known Manhattan auction house for international artists and collectors in the 1930s – and neighbors the 69th Regiment Armory where the first International Exhibition of Modern Art was held.

    Hollywood House (HWD) , which sits on Sunset Boulevard, is one of LA's most celebrated buildings and occupies the original CBS Studio (the world's first structure built intentionally for broadcast).

    Here genre- defining artists from Orson Wells and Lucille Ball to Janis Joplin, the Beach Boys, and Bob Dylan built their legacy.

    Venice Beach House (VB)


    was once the creative home to some of the most influential creative luminaries in art and entertainment including Hal Ashby, Oliver Stone, and David Hockney, NeueHouse Venice Beach is a new work, social, and cultural hub for the Venice creative community.

    The Role

    In support of our Venice Beach location, the Membership Experience Associate is one of the most visible and

    connected/connective

    roles within NeueHouse.

    Reporting to the Membership Manager, this role sets the standard of service for all the NH Members, VIPs, guests, vendors and team members who walk through our doors.

    As the home of the new, we're investing in new ways of working, creating and collaborating and our Member Experience Associates are the first point of contact for our amazing, creative communities.

    Responsible for greeting members and visitors, taking charge with member/guest registration, scheduling and preparing meeting rooms for use, assisting with the maintenance of shared member spaces and amenities, and acting as the House's main communication hub for internal and external communications.

    The role requires someone who is ready to:
    Actively work to shape the culture of NeueHouse, particularly as it relates to our catalyst values (generosity, authenticity, curiosity, and kindness), as well as promoting an atmosphere of creativity and elevated service
    Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to members (prospective and present)
    Maintain the Front Desk, guest waiting area, Membership desk and vestibule area.
    Manage guest and member flows (Member + Guest check-in, notifying members of guest arrival, event check-ins)

    As the Member Experience Associate you will gain exposure to all key departments in NeueHouse, with that we will cross train on key systems like Tripleseat, Resy, Nexudus, Splash,Toast, & NeueHouse Mobile App.

    Connect Guests and Members in a timely matter using internal logs and SMS
    Clearly communicate all member needs internally to ensure maximum satisfaction
    Support IT team in preparing for and responding to member technical needs
    Answer the house phone and direct communication appropriately based on a per-case basis
    Accept incoming mail and accurately connect messenger pick-ups
    Be comfortable in conversing with members, guests and potential members regarding NeueHouse events, various programs, and amenities offered.
    Must be a positive and articulate ambassador of the NeueHouse project/brand.
    Make introductions between members for both social and professional purposes.
    Follow departmental policies and procedures.
    Follow all safety policies.
    Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Outstanding customer service skills.
    Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
    Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

    Ability to practice critical thinking with tremendous attention to detail, to understand and anticipate member needs, and to remain calm while working to resolve issues.

    Ability to work cohesively with team members.

    An established network in hospitality, design and/or creative industries is encouraged.

    Physical Demands:


    While performing the duties of this job, you are required to stand (for the duration of the scheduled shift, minus any mandatory meal breaks); walk; and use hands to handle, feel, grasp, and hold objects.

    You are frequently required to reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; crouch; bend; talk; hear; and smell.
    You may be required to frequently climb (stairs).
    You may occasionally be required to kneel.
    You must occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 10 pounds.

    The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $21.00 an hour.
