**Day Cleaner/Porter**

Frederick, MD / Able Services Field Building Maintenance Eastern Region / Full time **Job Summary**

We are looking for dedicated Cleaners/Porters to join our dedicated team in Frederick, Maryland

The Day Cleaner/Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building. **This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.** **Requirements**

+ Minimum of 3 or more years cleaning or facilities maintenance experience

+ High School Diploma

+ Proven working experience as a restroom cleaner

+ Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

+ Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

+ Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

**Work Environment**

+ The work is performed in a commercial building environment. Service provided might be in one building or spread over several buildings; with a wide variety of staff with different functions, personalities and abilities.

**Physical Abilities**

+ Standing 70%

+ Sitting 5%

+ Squatting/Stooping 15%

+ Reaching 10%

+ Lifting up to 50 pounds

**Job Type:** Full time **Location:** Frederick, MD **Work Schedule:** Day / Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm **Pay rate:** $13.50 hourly
