The ideal person will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, a contributing team player, and a drive for perfection with a zero-defect proactive mindset.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure existing product and process standards adhere to company and industry quality standards.Lead, assist, advise, troubleshoot, and expedite resolutions and implementations of corrective actions to drive quality improvements, process improvements, and simplifications.
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; and making recommendations. Develop methods for inspection, instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.Complete APQP deliverables to achieve program targets within program timing.
Actively participate in drawing review and verification for sourced productsActively participate in PFMEA reviewsAssist in strategic planning, training, and development of all associates.
Lead technical and operating personnel in a team environment to improve safety, efficiency, output and quality of manufacturing processes.Demonstrate leadership values in all aspects of responsibilities. RequirementsBachelor's Degree
IATF 16949 / AIAG standards a plusKnowledge of FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and APQP processesPrevious experience working on a team with continuous improvement activitiesStrong analytical and project management skillsAbility to develop and present solid solutions to team members and managementPainting, powder coating or other surface finish knowledge/experience a plusMetals manufacturing (machining, casting, welding, stamping, extrusion, etc.) experience a plusWhy live life Big Ass?You're not just a member of the Big Ass Fans team; it's BIGGER than us.
