We are seeking a Production Manager to provide leadership and direction to Production Associates and ensure quality, safety, and production goals in support of organizational goals. Responsibilities:
    • Plans and controls short- and long-term production capacity, identifying labor requirements and other resources needed.
    • Establish standard work instructions and document procedures for improved output and increased efficiencies without compromising quality or safety.
    • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between all relevant departments, including but not limited to outside sales, customer service, quality control, planning, procurement, distribution, and management.
    • Conduct production meetings to outline and report on the goals and objectives of the department and to discuss potential issues that could impact productivity.
    • Work closely with all production employees to ensure that set production levels and quality standards are met, including assisting in ISO 9001 certification.
    • Train and develop associate skill levels to include but not limited to: on-the-job training, cross-training coverage, safe work habits, and good housekeeping.
    • Support ongoing development of associates by providing clear performance expectations, specific feedback on behaviors, effective coaching, mentoring, identifying, and providing developmental opportunities.
    • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and changes in equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes supporting cost and quality efficiencies.
    • Establishes, implements, and revises written procedures relating to manufacturing operations, including actively participating in problem-solving initiatives (root cause analysis, 5S, etc.).
    • Approve time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, etc.
    • Work closely with management and Human Resources on annual reviews, pay raises, attendance, rewards, disciplinary and any other personnel issues that may arise.
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), Associate or higher degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of working in production planning, quality control methods, and manufacturing engineering preferred, with at least 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
    • Prior production experience working with pneumatic assemblies preferred.
    • Knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001), Lean Manufacturing concepts, and health and safety standards and compliance.
