Job summary
Serve as the liaison between dispatch and hospital departments to ensure compliance with operational clinical safety standards while maintaining proper documentation reporting and data integrity for analysis Conduct hiring training directing development and evaluation of staff Supervise daily operations and activities of the EMS Dispatch Center oversee adequate around-the-clock coverage effective dispatch of emergency non-emergency transports monitor adjust system resources optimize response times resource utilizationResponsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations and activities of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Dispatch Center.
- Oversee the EMS Dispatch Center ensuring adequate around-the-clock coverage and the effective dispatch of emergency and non-emergency transports.
- Maintain readiness reliability of all communications equipment CAD systems radio networks manages system performance Ensure compliance with all operational clinical safety standards while maintaining proper documentation reporting data integrity for operation analysis Conduct hiring training directing development evaluation staff May perform duties Dispatcher department staffing levels require Monitor adjust system resources optimize response times resource utilization Serve liaison between dispatch EMS operations hospital departments Maintain readiness reliability communications equipment CAD systems radio networks manages system performance Ensure compliance operational clinical safety standards while maintaining proper documentation reporting data integrity operation analysis Conduct hiring training directing developing evaluating staff
- BLS Provider preferred American Red Cross or Heart Association Accepted Emergency Management credentialed from FEMA Emergency Management Institute preferred
