Senior Accountant

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our long-time client is a manufacture that provides supplies to the federal government
• Due to a growth, they are hiring a Senior Accountant to work in office in Columbia, MD.
• Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
• This position is contract-to-hire depending on performance and fit
• Pay: 38-41/hr - depending on experience

Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• Job costing and inventory management.
• Reconciliations - bank, credit, balance sheet, etc.
• Posting monthly journal entries.
• ME/YE Close
• Assist external auditors
• Incurred cost submissions.
• Ad hoc projects / reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• 5-10 years of accounting experience preferred
• Epicor experience is a plus
• Job Costing experience is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
