    The Continuous Improvement Manager plays a key role in leading operational excellence and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement across all functions of the organization.

    The role serves as a coach for the functional managers in the deployment and execution of best-in-class practices to reduce waste, improve efficiencies, and increase company profitability.


    Responsibilities:
    Plan and implement continuous improvement strategies to achieve overarching global business strategy.
    Develop list of projects from department Function heads aimed at process improvement.

    In conjunction with the VP of Supply Chain and direct reports, prioritize projects accordingly based on the financial impact to the company, safety, quality, and efficiency gains.

    Champion a culture of continuous improvement, facilitating continuous improvement initiatives that include Kaizen events, engineering projects, daily improvement activities, advanced problem solving using DMAIC methodology or Six Sigma projects, 5S, visual stream mapping, and lean principles.

    Oversee the development and maintenance of the site continuous improvement roadmap, ensuring that the roadmap aligns with key business objectives.

    Assures roadmap activities are clearly communicated to key stakeholders, projects and events are resourced effectively, and results are updated monthly.

    Coordinate meetings with Function heads and subject matter experts as needed to understand the opportunity.
    Provides leadership, coaching and training in Lean thinking, Lean production, variation reduction, problem solving and people/team strategies.
    Updates stake holders on project status. Prepares report upon completion of each project.
    Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance.
    Ensure the business impact and project objectives, dependencies and deliverables are identified, reported, and managed.
    Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved.


    Job Experience/ Skills:


    5-7 years progressive technical experience in a manufacturing environmentBachelor's Degree RequiredHands on experience using advanced continuous improvement methods (Lean / TPM / Six Sigma / TQM / DMAIC) both as a team member and team leaderExperience developing employee training programsDemonstrated analytical problem-solving skill: identifying opportunities for improvement, applying a disciplined approach to determine root cause, and implementing appropriate corrective actions (A3- thinking)Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop personnel, and strategically plan for continuous improvementDemonstrated history of strong organizational and scheduling skills.

    Must possess good communication skills.
    Demonstrated ability to work with multi-discipline teams.
    Understanding of basic problem-solving skills and statistical techniques.
    Knowledge of FMS and Microsoft Office.
