    We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely laboratory results that support patient diagnosis and treatment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ">
      ">
    • Perform complex laboratory analyses and examinations using various instruments and methods.
      • ">
    • Interpret and correlate clinical test results with patient history, diagnosis, and clinical condition.
      • ">
    • Communicate critical lab results and instrument malfunctions to medical personnel.
      • ">
    • Maintain knowledge of required computer functions associated with testing and workflow management.
      • ">
    • Teach in the School of Medical Technology and Lab rotations as requested.
      • ">
    • Meet all regulatory lab requirements consistently.
      • ">
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as requested by manager.

        Requirements:

        ">
          ">
        • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related Science field, or equivalent experience recognized by New York State Department of Education for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
          • ">
        • New York State Department of Education License or Limited Permit as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, required.
          • ">
        • Certification by ASCP preferred, but not required.

            Schedule and Location:

            ">

            This position is available on a per diem basis and primarily works days with 8-hour shifts at Massena Hospital.

            Salary and Benefits:

            ">

            The salary range for this position is $33.00 - $39.00. The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
