- Minimum Experience: 3+ years as a Service Technician
- Preferred Certification: Chevrolet/GM certification
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE Certification required
- A level qualifications (Diagnostic, Electrical, Engine Repair)
- Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Strong customer service and basic computer skills
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Eagerness to learn and improve
- Team player with effective collaboration skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 (Details discussed during interview)
- Commute Allowance: Available for long-distance commuters (Details discussed during interview)
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately
- Discuss repair needs and options with management or service advisors
- Communicate additional service requests to service advisors
- Plan and prioritize work in cooperation with the dispatcher
- Provide labor time estimates to service advisors
- Adhere to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
- Document and complete repair stories for client vehicles
- Help mentor and guide technician trainees
- Stay updated through company and factory training
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal)
