    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a Same Day Program, requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

    Responsibilities
    Position in a Same Day Surgery PACU setting with a 34-bed unitResponsibilities include pre and post-operative recovery carePatient assignments include a 1:2 phase one recovery ratioPatient services include gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery casesShifts vary between 6:00am-4:30pm, 7:00am-5:30pm, and 8:00am-6:30pmNo on-call or weekend requirementsProvide comprehensive recovery care to surgical patients in both pre and post-operative phasesCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered careFirst-time travelers may be eligible if all requirements are met

    Requirements
    Active NH or compact RN license requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferredMust have recent (within the last 2 years) Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experienceNo local candidates allowed; must live outside a 75-mile radius
