- Team Leadership: Lead a team of business intelligence and data analysts, and data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
- Project Management: Prioritize, lead, and manage business, data, and data analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Data and Data Analytics Strategy: Work closely with CTO to develop and implement data and data analytics strategy aligned with overall data analytics roadmap and organizational goals and objectives.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Develop and maintain complex data models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate complex data insights and support business decision-making
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders to identify needs, develop solutions, and present findings to drive business outcomes.
- Data Quality and Governance: Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
- Tool Development and Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of data analytics tools, platforms, and infrastructure.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field (STEM); Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Broad experience with data manipulation and analysis (SQL and e.g. Python, R, etc.)
- High proficiency with business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ELT processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organized with good project management skills
- Strong understanding of data governance and quality principles
- Cloud Platform: Familiarity with cloud-based business intelligence and data analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Agile Practitioner: Experience with Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Domain Expertise: Experience working in the financial industry - real assets a plus
- Estimated base salary range for this position is: $150,000-$185,000. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
