Our qualified staffing specialists are standing by and ready to help match your medical expertise with a thrilling new opportunityWe are looking for a dedicated Specialty Surgical Technician in Aurora, CO with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.
Job Requirements:
a) Demonstrates ability to decontaminate and clean reusable equipment and/or supplies and associated storage units in accordance with the department, manufacturer, and OSHA standards.
b) Demonstrates ability to assemble, store, and distribute reusable medical equipment and/or supplies for patient care.
c) Demonstrates ability to round assigned areas to ensure equipment and/or supplies and storage units are maintained in a timely manner.
d) Demonstrates ability to maintain appropriate documentation of equipment/supply processing.
e) Demonstrates ability to adhere to proper infection control and safety practices. Ensures proper handling of instruments and equipment to prevent damage or loss.
f) Demonstrates ability to monitor for equipment and/or supplies in need of repair or replacement and notifies appropriate department personnel.
