Schedule: Full time, Night shift. Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM -
Hospital: Ascension St. John -
Location: Tulsa, OK - Conduct patient assessment and establishe therapy treatment goals.
- Administer individual and group therapy.
- Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provide patient with information regarding resourceS and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
- Counselor credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board ofLicensed Social Workers.
- Oklahoma License (LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor) or (LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or (LMFT-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) or (LADC/MH - Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health Certified)
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Clinical Counselor preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- This is a Triage opportunity with no Direct Counseling. Counselor will assess, make safety plans, facilitate transfers for Patients in the ER who have been medically cleared, work with the inter-disciplinary team (Peds, Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, ER, etc.) to make appropirate recommendations for post discharge.
