    Postdoctoral Fellow or Instructor (annual, non-tenure track) in the Graduate Counseling program


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Required Qualifications for the position include a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision (from a CACREP-accredited program); experience teaching and conducting research; experience teaching and supervising graduate counseling courses and clinical experiences; Preferred Qualifications for the position include being licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia; the potential to work collaboratively in a department that is diverse in theoretical orientation, clinical practice, and committed to experiential training; a demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity; and a demonstrated commitment to and affinity for Mennonite and/or Anabaptist communities


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to teaching six to eight graduate courses in the Master of Arts in Counseling program annually – courses may include Counseling Techniques, Internship 1 & 2, Integrated Counseling Process (Adv.

    participating in counseling research alongside core faculty members in the EMU MA in Counseling department; facilitating the implementation and development of a research lab under the supervision of core counseling faculty; participating in MAC and University meetings and faculty events; This is a nine-month contract; [Salary determined by education and experience.

    Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) is seeking to hire a full-time postdoctoral fellow or term instructor in the MA in Counseling (MAC) program for the academic year.

    This position is ideal for an applicant who has completed a doctoral program in counselor education, would like to continue clinical practice, and is seeking to gain experience in teaching, research, and supervision in a CACREP accredited program.

    The EMU MA in Counseling faculty highly value collaborative teaching, research, and mentorship.
