- Lead budget / bid / GMP assembly for the trade specialization
- Collaborate with the project team in establishing comprehensive scopes of work and qualification development
- Participate in constructability reviews
- Development of specific systems analyses and creation of Value Engineering and Alternates lists / logs
- Strategy development for GMPs and competitive bids
- Build relationships with clients, design team, and subcontractors
- Pricing experience with electrical systems including dry utilities
- Experience presenting all Electrical estimates to clients
- Experience estimating with a variety of building types
- Quantity take-off software experience (On Screen Take-off or Sketch-up preferred)
- PDF editor software experience (Bluebeam preferred)
- Experience working with residential/multi-family, office, education, healthcare and science and technology markets
- Experience with Mechanical Systems

We are a nationally recognized and well-respected Commercial Construction firm based in Rockville, MD. Due to growth, we are actively searching for an Electrical Estimating Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
The Electrical Estimating Manager (Preconstruction) is responsible for leading the overall management of the electrical trade for a project, in both an estimating and preconstruction capacity. This role is responsible for understanding the deliverables, developing a work plan, and identifying resources required while coordinating with the Senior MEP Manager and the Lead Estimating Manager/Preconstruction Manager.
Must-Have Skills
1.) A minimum of eight (8) years experience in electrical estimating OR electrical engineering design experience in commercial construction
2.) Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction management, including safety, quality, and sustainability standards
3.) Ability to develop good relationships with clients, design teams and subcontractors
