    Job Summary:
    We are Vontas, an industry leader in people transportation, and we need an Application Support Analyst for our North American customer base.

    Job Description:

    As an Applications Support Analyst, you are an ambitious and driven individual, passionate about customer service, solving issues, collaborating with others, and sharing knowledge. You will provide technical hardware, software application support and issue resolution to our client base. You will support on-prem and cloud-based applications, hardware, and network related tools and technologies. You will answer complex questions, prioritize work, create documentation, and ensure support tickets are completed on-time and accurately. You will work and collaborate with other individuals and teams to resolve customer issues when necessary.

    Keys Responsibilities
    • Actively support customers as well as Vontas staff in all aspects of issue resolution, ensuring the customer is informed and updated throughout life of request.
    • Prioritize and resolve software, hardware, and configuration problems, resolving or escalating in a timely manner.
    • Lead to successful conclusion by liaising closely with development, support engineers, and others as necessary.
    • Identify and provide input on unique or recurring customer issues.
    • Document issues and resolutions, write product knowledge base articles, service bulletins, white papers, procedures...
    • Perform operational maintenance, application upgrades, system and technical product troubleshooting, repair and system testing to validate changes.
    • Direct contact with internal and external customers.
    • Available for remote support after hours in an on-call rotation.
    • Up to 10% Travel
    Qualifications
    • Experience with and/or knowledge of CAD/AVL preferred.
    • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems by investigating potential solutions using troubleshooting skills.
    • Transit Industry experience (preferred).
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Windows operating systems.
    • SQL Server and/or Oracle database administration experience.
    • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
    • Proficiency with networking concepts.
    • Experience working within Microsoft Azure (preferred).
    • Good organizational skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Desire to be challenged and have fun.
    COMMUNICATION SKILLS

    Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position is very visible to the customer and must maintain a high level of professionalism.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Prefer bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience with proven training in application support, electrical engineering and/or network administration.
