    TruGreen: Residential Sales Lead Role

    Job Description:

    Position Overview:
    Selling residential lawn care services to both new and existing customers face-to-face through door-to-door efforts. The role involves training and guiding other residential sales representatives while meeting or exceeding sales targets for the Field Sales Lead position.

    Responsibilities:
    • Sell residential lawn care services directly to customers through in-person visits using a personal vehicle.
    • Provide lawn analysis, inform customers about any issues with their lawn and landscape, and offer suitable solutions.
    • Tailor residential lawn care services to meet customer needs, such as weed control, fertilization, and insect control, to meet weekly sales objectives.
    • Follow up on leads in person to understand customer requirements.
    • Quote prices, negotiate, and close sales deals.
    • Conduct on-the-job training for new sales representatives and offer guidance to Residential Sales Representative I and II associates.
    • Support the Branch Sales Manager with sales reporting, scheduling, and leads.
    • Achieve Key Performance Indicators for the role, including minimum required sales per week.

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Two to three years of outside sales experience required; senior level or sales lead experience is a plus.
    • Relevant certifications as required.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Completion of necessary certifications such as Horticulture and Mosquito/Pest Control.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and TruGreen Systems.
    • Ability to lead and influence others.
    • Strong knowledge of sales practices and techniques.
    • Mathematical proficiency for calculations.
    • Ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
    • Successful track record in building and leading sales teams.
    • Extensive knowledge of the sales industry with the ability to travel locally as needed.

    Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
    Physical demands include sitting, standing, using hands, and speaking.
    Occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs and perform various physical movements.
    Noise level is low to moderate with minimal adverse conditions.

    Proficiency in English is a requirement, and candidates must be located in the United States during work.

    Pay Ranges:
    $42, $75,602.00

    Compensation is dependent on qualifications and experience, along with other legal considerations. Offers are based on skills, experience, and geographic location.

    In addition to competitive pay, TruGreen offers benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) among other perks.
