Minimum Required:
The following qualifications or equivalents are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the job:##Graduation with a degree of Doctor of Medicine from an approved medical school.# Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Board eligibility in Internal Medicine with the understanding that Board certification will be acquired within the specified time in accordance to SRMC#s Medical Staff Bylaws.#
Possession of a license to practice medicine in the State of North Carolina and a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate.
Experience in a medical provider setting.##
Four (4) years post qualification structured training/experience in Intensive Care (Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine or equivalent from a recognized center).
Must be ACLS certified .# # Preferred:
