Job summary
The incumbent of this position will report to the Public Assistance Administration unit in the Office of Disaster Recovery.Duties include but are not limited to developing and maintaining knowledge of all applicable State and Federal laws rules and regulations relating to recovery programs and grant administration assisting in the preparation review evaluation and analysis of a variety of reports other documents specific to the assignment collecting tabulating analyzing data drawing conclusions from analyzed data makes appropriate recommendations creating tables charts drafting reports document analyses procedures developing maintaining updating database programs methods data analysis for program areas monitoring evaluating data deficiencies assist correcting problems liaising various agency program staff state local federal agencies organizing maintaining electronic information documentation projects contracts disaster declarations financial information reports compiling preparing program financial reports correspondence responses FEMA state agencies applicants as directed assisting preliminary damage assessments disaster declaration requests providing logistical support unit briefings trainings workshops help prepare organize related materials attending meetings internal external stakeholders needed completing special projects assigned facilitating participating delivering trainings educate applicants staff recovery programs administrative processes performing duties required potential supervise permanent temporary contractual staff supervisory duties required travel may be required approximately 10 depending mission assignment possession maintenance valid Driver's License issued Department Motor Vehicle required otherwise demonstrate capacity meet transportation needs job.
