    We are seeking a Senior Engineer to help us architect, design, and build out our product. Join us on our journey to deliver the best sustainability management software in the world.
    The role and responsibilities

    Identify and break down implementations that span multiple sprints.
    Establish conventions for robust development practices: testing, deployment, and system security.
    Proactively support other team members and help them to become successful.
    Assist in story refinement; documentation of requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
    Deliver software solutions that meet user story acceptance criteria.
    Facilitate technical conflict resolution with active listening and critical thinking.
    Triage and fix complex system issues.

    Your experience/qualifications

    Experience working on software projects collaborating with product stakeholders to create intuitive solutions that meet and exceed customers' needs.
    Professional experience with more than one frontend framework (Angular, React, Vue).
    Demonstrable understanding of effective UX design.
    Proven ability to build extensible and easy to use websites in a production environment
    5+ years of professional experience
    Good understanding of industry security practices including but not limited to Web Application Security and SSO.
    Nice to have

    Experience in Energy or Sustainability industry
    Experience in startups

    Base Salary:
    $125,000 – $160,000 , $146,000 – $189,000 CAD and option for equity
