- Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions, as applicable
- Medication administration
- Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols
- Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol
- Provide medication education to clients
- Coordinate and support Medical providers with assessments and medication management appointments
- Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current unencumbered LPN license in state of practice required.

Job DescriptionOur Dallas inpatient rehab center provides detox and residential programming for adult men and women living in or near Luzerne County. We respect every individual's autonomy to define their recovery, embracing the multiple-pathways-to-recovery approach to treatment, including both medication-assisted treatment or an abstinence approach. Our LPN's and RN's assist the doctor as needed, complete nursing assessments, and discharges.Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment at Pyramid Healthcare. The primary function of this role is providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance-use disorder and/or mental health treatment.n in supportive and courteous manner to unit nursing and tech staff.
