    Summit Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Assessment and Authorization Analyst (A&A) for a potential contract with our government client.In this role you will serve as the Lead for the Assessment and Authorization team responsible for team tasking, deliverables, and managing project artifacts. This is an onsite position in Adelphi, MD. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a DoD security clearance.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Manage eMASS records and A&A artifacts; Submit, update, and support RMF packages within eMASS.
    • Perform A&A related reporting.
    • Coordinate A&A efforts with responsible parties to execute an effective A&A program.
    • Evaluate customer requirements to develop efficient and robust RMF packages.
    • Lead new project RMF ATO efforts.
    • Review and understand relevant policy and technical RMF Controls for specific applicability and compliance requirements.
    • Review and document results from vulnerability and risk assessments.
    Required Experience and Skills:
    • 10+ years of experience in IT and Cybersecurity.
    • 5+ years of experience with Assessment and Authorization.
    • Able to develop and execute detailed plans for cybersecurity projects.
    • Understanding of DoD and Army IA policies, guidance, and best practices.
    • Understanding of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
    • Working knowledge of cybersecurity tools for perimeter security, vulnerability management, host-based security, network monitoring, etc.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
    Education:
    • Bachelor's/Graduate degree or equivalent work experience.
    Security Clearance:
    • Must be eligible for a DoD security clearance.
    Certifications:
    • An 8570 IAM Level II certification (CISSP (or Associate), CAP, CASP+ ce, CISMGSLC, CCISO)
