Description
POSITIONSUMMARY: The clinical staff educator, incollaboration with and under the direction of the Manager ofEducation and the Director of Ambulatory Patient Care Services willprovide education services to the clinician group support staff.The educator will assist leadership with the creation andsupervision of clinical education programs, monitor staffparticipation, and establish ongoing training for the rollout ofnew policies and procedures. The educator will provide feedback toclinic leadership on observations of clinical quality, compliancewith policies and procedures and identify areas where additionaleducation is needed. Responsible for the maintenance, supplyordering and upkeep of the clinic competency files and trainingrooms.
RequirementsMINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High Schooldiploma or equivalent. Successful completion of an accreditedmedical assistant program of study.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current Certified Medical Assistantcertification required.
SKILLS:
EXPERIENCE: Minimum ofthree years experience required in a healthcare settingpreferred.
NATURE OFSUPERVISION:
-Responsible to: Director, Ambulatory Patient CareServices
ENVIRONMENT:Requires knowledge of general safety standards tolimit exposure to infectious disease. Daily contact withinfectious diseases and body fluids.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 35 lbs,reaching above head and below knee level. Utilization of properbody mechanics.
