Flexible Work Schedules

As an IP Associate Attorney at Chambliss Law, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive legal counsel to our clients in matters related to IP.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP law, excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic legal team.

Conducting thorough legal research on IP issues mainly focusing on patent and trademark law.
Drafting and preparing legal documents, including IP-related agreements, legal briefs, and memoranda.

Preparing, filing, and prosecting patent, trademark, copyright applications to issuance, including developing appropriate response strategies, preparing, and filing responses to patent and trademark refusals, and interfacing with representatives of the United States Patent & Trademark and Copyright offices.

Staying up-to-date with changes in IP laws and regulations.
5+ years of experience in IP law, with a particular focus on patents and patent prosecution.
Experience in handling IP litigation is a plus.
Strong research, legal writing, and analytical skills.
Able to problem solve, resolve, close issues and assist staff and colleagues with resolving issues that arise.
degree from an accredited law school.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, chemical, computer/software)
