Financial Operations Analyst |Hybrid Schedule – Must live in the greater Reno, NV area
General Summary:
The Financial Operations Analyst performs the duties and functions related to the management of third-party suppliers, invoicing, purchase orders, vendor management and other finance/treasury related functions.
The ideal candidate will have an education and experience with vendor management, invoicing, procurement, and general accounting and business administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee corporate purchasing programs and functions
Compare and analyze actual results with plans and forecasts; make recommendations to management based on analyses
Creates and matches purchase orders with approved contracts and SOW's
Prepares new supplier and supplier update forms for vendor processing
Manage vendor inquiries/disputes and research discrepancies, collaborating with other departments to resolve as needed
Performs year-end duties as assigned including updating supplier records
Performs 1099 reporting
Demonstrates leadership by creating an environment that fosters teamwork, values diversity, and which supports and respects all team and company staff-members, internal and external customers, and vendors
Files Use Tax with states
Maintain procurement program including processes and policy documents
Maintain and recommend improvements of policies and procedures to management
Maintain and recommend improvements of metrics and reporting, recommend actions to improve program by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
Improve efficiency of program by developing automated applications/processes and recommending changes in methods
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and/or equivalent work experience.
5-7 years related work experience.
Excellent data entry skills, 10-key by touch.
Demonstrated ability to resolve discrepancies between suppliers and the Company.
Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.
Reliable, detail-oriented, team player.
PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED
Oracle Financials Experience
Experience with General Ledger accounts
Ability to perform account reconciliations
Procurement experience
Contract and SOW analysis
Work Environment:
Ideal candidate will be able to work a hybrid schedule with quarterly check ins with the local Reno, NV team
It requires a suitable space that provides a private and quiet workplace.
Expected Work Hours

Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

Salary Range
:
