    Executive Director, Creative (IHOP)

    Role Summary

    The Executive Director, Creative will lead the development and implementation of creative strategies that align with IHOP's overall business objectives and brand identity.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Develop and Implement Creative Strategies: Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the overall business objectives and brand identity.
    2. Lead and Mentor Creative Teams: Lead, mentor, and inspire creative teams (designers, writers, etc.) to achieve excellence.
    3. Build Relationships with IHOP Leaders: Build and maintain strong relationships with IHOP leaders, understanding their needs and expectations.
    4. Oversee the Entire Creative Process: Oversee the entire creative process from concept to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    5. Manage the Creative Department's Budget: Manage the creative department's budget and ensure projects stay within allocated resources.
    6. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and creativity.

    Key Requirements

    • 10 Years of Relevant Experience: Ten years of relevant experience, with seven or more years as a creative director in an agency or corporate setting.
    • Marketing and Advertising Expertise: Experience in creating marketing/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget.
    • Digital Content Creation: Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
    • Proven Ability to Develop Successful Concepts: Proven ability to develop successful concepts.
    • Leadership and Team Management: Proficiency in leading a team of diverse, talented creatives.
    • Creative Vision and Business Acumen: Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives.
