    This 17 bed General Surgery Department isa Center for Orthopedic/Neuroscience Excellence
    Typical patientpopulation also includes:

    Joint replacement (Hip/Knee/Shoulder),Neurosurgery & Acute stroke downgrade patients. The Nurse toPatient Ratio is between 1:
    4 or 1:
    6 depending on the census andmedical acuity of the stroke patients. We have dedicated unit basededucator and safety coaches who prioritize safe patient practice.
    Our Nurses work closely with our interdisciplinary team to providepatient centered care. Our unit is comprised of multiple skilllevels with the support of experienced charge nurses, and anenergetic clinical manager.     Qualifications:

    MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:


    Graduate of a nursingprogram

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:


    New Graduates of a nursing programeligible

    MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:


    CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLCMultistate License. BLS certificationrequired.


    ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:


    For PRNpositions:

    One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting isrequired
    Bachelors degree preferred
    Advanced certification in field of specialty, ifapplicable (see addendum)
    Nursing Experience in HospitalSetting Preferred
