Head of Data Platforming

Boston, MA (Hybrid - 1x/week onsite)

A leading firm in Boston is looking to bring on a hands-on Head of Data Engineering to lead greenfield architecture & development of a cloud-native data platform. This person will head up and take ownership of data platforms & large-scale projects within the firm's internal Innovation Lab.

Qualifications:

• 10-12+ years of professional engineering experience
• Expertise building high-performant, cloud-native data platform solutions with modern technology stacks (Python, AWS)
• Highly skilled with Big Data tools (Spark/Hadoop), data warehousing and data processing
• Passionate about discovering, testing and implementing new technologies into an established technology suite, and driving firm-wide innovation
• BS or MS in Computer Science (or related field)
