    Responsibilities

    The primary responsibilities for the Product Manager include specifying market requirements for current and future products, increasing the profitability of the existing products and managing the product development process for the line
    Responsibilities Develop Product Plans based on market and customer insights
    Perform research to develop clear understanding of markets, customers, competition, relative performance, positioning and right to win for products
    Develop roadmap for specific products aligned with business segment strategy

    Through work with Operations and R&D, assess gaps in technology and manufacturing capabilities in implementing product road map and develop plans to address.

    Work with team to identify potential solutions
    Provide product line input into business segment strategy
    Seek industry and market trends relevant to products
    Identify gaps in product portfolio and unmet market needs
    Develop activation plans working with sales team to implement components of the business strategy
    Perform sales training on products
    Develop and maintain sales tools- Collateral, Product Demos/Sample Kits, Website, Advertising, Press Releases, White Papers, etc
    Assist in developing content and presenting innovations & insights to strategic customers
    Manage development and commercialization of new products
    Initiate NPD projects aligned with business segment strategy
    Develop specific project and business plans including opportunity size, product requirements and value proposition
    Execute project plans; actively manage development and commercialization projects working closely with R&D, customers/OEM partners and sales

    Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Paper Science, Material Science or Chemical Engineering or similar disciplines; MBA preferred with technical undergrad.

    Or, Bachelor of Business in Marketing with three to five years of experience in a field related to manufacturing.

    Three to five years of product management in a B2B environment working closely with sales, marketing and R&D teams; digital printing experience preferred.

    Three plus years of marketing experience (promotions, product placement & pricing or general industry support) in the Publishing materials market preferred.

    Strong marketing and project management experience required. Proficiency for understanding the financial implications of recommendations and/or decisions. Product/Project Management training and certification is desirable.

    Salary Range:
    $80K $100K
