    Job Summary:

    The Grants and Contracts Specialist III trains and assists Office for Sponsored Programsteam members in the review of complex sponsored project proposals, budgets, and interpretation of regulations, policies and other complex matters.

    The Specialist III will also assist in the development and implementation of Sponsored Programs policies and procedures.


    Additional Department Summary:

    The Senior Specialist will mentor Grant and Contract Specialists and assist with resolution of unique and complex matters that arise.

    The Senior Specialist must maintain a working knowledge of University policies and procedures, and various federal and state regulations governing sponsored research administration and independently interpret and apply them in a variety of situations.


    Required Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or higher and five (5) years of experience in the administration of grants and contracts
