- Analyze records for completeness and patient history
- Prepare exam/procedure rooms and equipment for patient care
- Greet, identify patient and prepare patient for exam while safeguarding privacy
- Review/document medication and allergies
- Take vital signs, obtain complaints and medical history
- Assist with routine procedures and patient care as directed by provider
- Communicate effectively between provider and patient
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Diploma or LPN/RN license
- Experience in clinic setting preferred
- Intermediate language, math and reasoning skills; basic computer skills and ability to work with diverse groups and healthcare professionals
