    Assistant Service Technician at Parsons Roofing

    Parsons Roofing, a leading company specializing in commercial roofing solutions, is looking for a dynamic Assistant Service Technician to join their team.

    This role doesn't require previous roofing experience, although it is a plus.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of various commercial roofing systems like flat roofs, metal roofs, and single-ply membranes under the lead technician's guidance.
    • Conduct inspections, identify roofing issues, and suggest solutions.
    • Carry out diagnostic tests to detect leaks, cracks, and other problems.
    • Collaborate with the project team, plan roofing projects, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure project deadlines are met.
    • Safely handle and upkeep roofing tools, equipment, and machinery.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns professionally and promptly.
    • Record work details, materials used, repairs performed, and hours worked.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Training or certification in commercial roofing systems.
    • Experience with various roofing membranes and coatings.
    • Proficient in modified bitumen roofing systems and torch usage.
