    The AWV schedulers primary job function is to ensure that patients are scheduled properly and yearly with their provider for their AWV (Annual Wellness Visit).

    This department operates efficiently to ensure that we deliver high quality care for our patients and physicians.

    Major duties revolve around receiving multiple patient lists, scheduling patients in the correct time frame and making sure that the providers have the time available for the patient.

    Schedulers must be able to correspond regarding scheduling changes for the providers in a timely manner. The individual must be organized and able to manage a demanding workload with accuracy.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Handle scheduling 70/80 patients per day
    • Coordinate with providers and other staff members with schedules
    • Responsive to management's request and suggestions able to take direction to meet business goals
    • Must be compassionate and mannered while talking to patients, providers, and staff
    • Collect information from the patient and document into their chart along with following up with the facility that the patient gives you information about
    • Maintain multiple excel spreadsheets
    • Identify scheduling barriers and implement solutions to improve scheduling

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
    • 1 years of customer service experience or patient scheduling experience
