    POSITION SUMMARY
    • Attend to guest repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues
    • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
    • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines
    • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts
    • Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts
    • Read blueprints and electrical schematics and display strong mechanical ability
    • Proficient in various engineering operations categories
    • Knowledgeable in the safe use of hand and power tools
    • Perform complex repairs on property and equipment
    • Trained in engineering computer programs and systems
    • Perform troubleshooting on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
    • Train and mentor other engineers as needed
    • Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities

    FOLLOW ALL company and safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems or safety hazards

    Ensure clean and professional appearance and maintain confidentiality

    Welcome and assist guests according to standards

    Develop positive relationships with team members

    Use clear and professional language with others

    Perform physical tasks as required

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • High school diploma/G.E.D. and vocational or technical background
    • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration
    • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
    • No supervisory experience

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Valid Driver's License

    Universal CFC Certification

    Meet state and federal certification requirements
