Job summary

The North America Quality organization is currently seeking a Control Tower & Field Quality Engineer to join the Control Tower & Field Quality team (CTFQ) at the Headquarters & Technical Center (QEC) Auburn Hills, MI.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to facilitating cross functional project meetings compile project status reports coordinate project schedules agendas minutes and correspondence identify and analyze system requirements define project scope requirements and deliverables involving multiple stakeholders lead the resolution of warranty related issues accountable for problem solving process proposed solution validation weekly progress lead triage warranty claims review sorting claims bucketing review call vehicles at dealers support Stellantis/Suppliers review at Quality Engineering Center and Manufacturing locations establish validate containment permanent actions at Stellantis/Supplier Plants physically reviewing product/process changes internal metrics control plan update maintain project timelines This offers the selected candidate an opportunity to be an integral part of a company whose focus is to change the automotive landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Applied Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from accredited University 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering 2 + years of experience in testing/validation/test method development including fixture design instrumentation data acquisition etc. Knowledge about Transmission and Driveline system and components Strong written verbal communication/presentation skills Proficiency in MS Office applications specifically MS Excel Project Working knowledge Teamcenter Working knowledge GD&T understanding full detail on drawings
