    Title:
    Facilities Maintenance Specialist II (2nd shift: 4:00pm - 12:30 am, Monday - Friday)


    Bargaining Unit/Salary Level:
    Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Support Unit Level 11A. This position is budgeted at $17.01/hour including a 2nd shift differential.


    Responsibilities:


    Primary responsibility is general custodian work to include extensive cleaning of the facilities, classrooms, dorms, bathrooms and other buildings on campus.

    Responsibilities also include minor building maintenance, such as snow removal from doorways, light bulb replacement, light carpentry tasks, minor plumbing and individual associated tasks as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma and\or G.E.D. equivalent
    • Knowledge, skills and experience associated with all or most of the above
    • Continued possession of a valid Maine driver's license
    • Ability to lift 50lbs and perform a variety of manual tasks

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Associate Degree
    • Operation of both manual and automatic cleaning equipment
