    Job Title: Circulating Registered Nurse

    Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

    Job Description:

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. You will work closely with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assess and plan patient care, implementing critical pathways and protocols as needed
    • Coordinate nursing interventions to enhance patient outcomes and discharge planning
    • Utilize specialized knowledge and judgment to provide direct or indirect patient care in emergency situations
    • Assign patient care responsibilities based on patient needs and staff capabilities
    • Review charts for completeness and administer medications as ordered by physicians
    • Communicate relevant patient information to physicians, facility managers, and other staff members

    Performance Requirements:

    We require:

    • Excellent computer skills, including EMR Systems and Microsoft Suite
    • Familiarity with legal and policy limits of individual practice
    • Attention to detail, effective time management, and critical thinking and decision-making skills
    • Embracing ORI's mission and vision through friendly and patient-oriented service

    Work Environment:

    You will work in a general pleasant environment with minimal distractions, with potential exposure to unpleasant odors, blood and body fluids, infectious diseases, and chemical and electrical hazards.

    Physical Demands:

    You must be able to lift/transfer patients, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, and have good visual acuity, accurate color vision, and ability to speak and hear.

    Education and Experience:

    1. Current RI State Licensure
    2. BLS required, ACLS preferred
    3. At least one year OR experience

    This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional local day travel.
