Summary:
Provides Physical Therapy services to patients of all ages including adolescents, adults and geriatric patients who are referred; Evaluates the Physical Therapy needs of the patient; Develops goals and treatment plan in conjunction with the patient and family/significant other; Implements treatment program; Provides education to patients, families and caregivers; Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants, students and support staff in compliance with hospital and state regulatory policies.
Must meet departmental per diem requirements as set forth by management.# Education:
Bachelor of Science, Master#s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from a Physical Therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
# Licensure:
License and/or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist from the Department of Health, Division of Professional Regulation, State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.
BLS Required Experience:
One year experience preferred.
