Epitaxial Reactor Technician

The epitaxial reactor technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) reactors. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintenance: Assists with major vent maintenance tasks, minor troubleshooting and repair, and tracks routing maintenance requirements.
• Setup and Operation: Sets up and operates computer-controlled epitaxial reactors, including daily checks of gauges, electronics rack, pumps, and reactor room.
• Process Monitoring: Enters processing data into computers and monitors processes via display screens. Reviews trend data and reports any deviations to epitaixal engineers or managers.
• Wafer Handling: Safely handles wafers before and after growth.
